About Us
From our family to yours, Piptree Early Learning is committed to caring and educating your child.
Our Story
Piptree Early Learning was inspired by a deep-seated desire to share our family values with the world, emphasizing the nurturing and care of the next generation. Our adventure in childcare started in 2004 with the creation of our first centre in Mt Gravatt East, laying the foundation for our dedication to delivering exceptional early education.
Almost another decade later, we proudly manage four centres across Brisbane. Since day one we have remained family owned and family run, with one distinct mission in mind – provide understanding, engaged care.
As our centres grow we are committed to giving back to the community, as they have given so much to us. We are determined to reduce our environmental impact and make the world we live in a better place. When you join Piptree, you join a family. Thank you for being a part of our family!
Our
Philosophy
We’ve created environments for children to play, learn and grow. We nurture their development, gently guiding them to flourish and blossom at their own pace. We firmly believe that from these delicate seedlings, mighty trees will grow!
It’s our role to help each child along a journey of care and learning – from Pip to Tree.
Community & Sustainability
The Piptree commitment spans far further than industry leading care and educating the next generation. We firmly believe that from delicate seedlings, mighty trees will grow; and it’s our duty to sustain this for years to come!
Sustainability
We are also committed to minimising the environmental impact of our business, and we’re constantly working to shift towards greener, renewable energy sources. 160 solar panels across four of our centres work hard every day to supply approximately 50% of our electricity requirements!
Over the next 10 years, Piptree will remove 500 tonnes of CO2 emissions from the atmosphere. That’s equivalent to removing 250 petrol cars from our roads or planting 15,000 trees!
Community
Each of our locations are deeply rooted in community spirit, engaging in a wide range of initiatives from aged care visits, to school excursions and partnering with local MPs and counsellors. For more detailed information on what your local centre does for your community.
Giving Back
Your Piptree enrolment also restores sight to people in vulnerable communities, thanks to the Global Medical Foundation Australia.
For just over $130 AUD, a cataract surgery can restore sight to someone in a low socio-economic society with malnutrition, poor sanitation and lack of education contributing to its incidence.
Global Medical Foundation Australia, in partnership with Piptree Early Learning has already restored sight to tens of thousands of individuals, and with your enrolment at Piptree, this is on track to grow to many more!
We respectfully acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work – the Yuggera, Turrbal and Jagera people. We pay respects to elders past, present & future.
